The challenge

bioMérieux was created in 1963, a family-owned company, that has grown to become a world leader in the field of in vitro diagnostics. Having an unrelenting commitment to improve public health worldwide. Relocating their UK headquarters nearby to Chineham Park Basingstoke.

With the project commencing midway through the pandemic material procurement was the key challenge. With this obstacle design was undertaken based on the best available materials that did not restrict the design and Clients expectation. The new property at Chineham Park was a demise split subletting from another medical product company with a floor area of 5,500 sq. ft.

  • Provide complete furniture procurement

THE delivered

  • Mechanical/electrical modifications and additions
  • Modification to existing suspended ceilings
  • Partitioning, including glazing system, meeting rooms, demo lab
  • Custom joinery, including a bespoke wall panelling and breakout area complete with tea point, private booths
  • Furniture provision, including specialist acoustic pods
  • Provision and installation hygienic wall surfaces to the lab and specific MEP services to suit specialist equipment.
